All clinical students are required to complete a 12 month full-time organized internship in a recognized psychological services unit under the supervision of licensed psychologist. It is expected that internship supervision and training will follow the guidelines for internship accreditation of the Canadian Psychological Association. Normally students will apply for the internship during the fall term of their fourth year after completion of all courses and other program requirements. In addition data collection and analysis for the thesis should be completed before starting the internship. On completion of the internship, the Director of the Clinical Program will recommend that the student should be given credit for the internship once notification has been received that the student has completed all internship requirements. Required course.Prerequisites: all clinical program requirements and data collection for the doctoral thesis.
