PSYC6622Practicum in Child/ Adolescent Clinical Psychology0 ch
Students are required to complete a least 350 practicum hours in child/adolescent clinical psychology as a prerequisite for the pre-doctoral internship. They may complete practicum training in any pre-authorized practicum setting provided they have the prerequisite clinical courses and approval from the Practicum Coordinator. Either PSYC 6621 or PSYC 6622 must be completed as a three to four month full-time clinical placement. The other practicum courses may be taken on either a full-time or a part-time basis as long as they exceed 250 hours in total. Practicum training will normally begin in the summer term of the second year and extend over the next two years of the program. In order to be credited towards practicum hours, the necessary documentation must be submitted to the Practicum Coordinator.
