This clinical skills course has three main goals. The first goal is to provide training in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of a standard test of adult intelligence. The second goal is to provide training in administration, scoring and interpretation of an objective test of personality. The third goal is for students to gain familiarity with other selected tests of cognitive functioning and personality. The current status of the intelligence concept and the role of intelligence testing in clinical assessment will also be examined, along with an appraisal of personality tests and their clinical uses. Required course.
