Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic Graduate Scholarship

Awarded annually in the fall, based on a recommendation by the Faculty of Kinesiology, to a graduate student in the Faculty of Kinesiology pursuing research in one of the following categories:
1. Improving athlete performance or training;
2. Understanding the determinants of performance;
3. Enhancing best practice in coaching, sport science or sport medicine.
These topics could be approached from the fields of Strength and Conditioning, Physiology, Motor Control and Learning, Biomechanics, or Sport Psychology. Students should aim to answer practical questions raised by coaches, athletes, or Integrated Support Team (IST) members and research must be directly related to the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic (CSCA) and students are required to spend three (3) hours per week working in the sporting environment. This can be done either in field or through UNB’s Sport Performance Centre. These hours will be supervised by a coach or member of the Integrated Support Team.
Apply: Faculty of Kinesiology. The selection will be made by a committee comprised of the Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology and a member of the CSCA.
