Athletics Centre
The G. Forbes Elliot Athletics Centre features a 30,000 square foot (2,949 square metre) surface with an all purpose synthetic floor. It includes space for four basketball courts, four tennis courts, four volleyball courts, six badminton courts and a four-lane running track. The ground floor includes locker and shower rooms, equipment storage, a trainer's room and an officials' room. Upstairs, in addition to a suite of offices and a reception area, is a classroom, a lounge, a games room, and a conditioning room that includes fitness and strength-training equipment.
Canada Games Stadium
UNB Saint John boasts one of the finest track and field facilities in the country. A legacy of the 1985 Canada Games, the Stadium has a 400-metre, eight-lane all weather running track and a natural grass infield. There is fixed seating for 5,000; a press box, and other auxiliary facilities.
Bookstore
On the ground floor of the library building is the campus bookstore. This is where you will find textbooks for all your courses along with clothing and giftware bearing the university crest and logo. You can also find stationery, general interest books and computer software.
Conference Facilities
The University of New Brunswick in Saint John offers a variety of venues and facilities for Weddings, Banquets, Dances, Family Reunions, Parties, Seminars, Meetings and Conferences.
Competent and courteous food, bar and conference services staff will assure that your event is pleasant and worry-free.
Library
The Ward Chipman Library houses a physical collections of approximately 181,000 volumes, 42,000 microforms, government documents and maps, and 1,150 current serial titles are supplemented by a special intercampus loan service. Library users share Quest, the University libraries' system, and have electronic access to the full library catalogue and over 20 bibliographic databases, which include indexes, abstracts, and full-text material.
Sir James Dunn Residence
The Sir James Dunn Residence is a modern co-ed facility, which accommodates 71 people in single and double rooms. Two of the single rooms are specially equipped for physically challenged students. As with the Fredericton campus, residence fees include a meal plan offered in the Student Centre cafeteria.
Dr. Colin B MacKay Residence
The new residence, which was designed with input from our own students, offers 173 beds in the form of spacious double suites. Suites include two single bedrooms, kitchenettes, complete with microwave and fridge and private three-piece bath.
Thomas J. Condon Student Centre
The TJ Condon Student Centre is the focal point for student activity on campus. Here you'll find the cafeteria, a banking machine, offices of the Students' Representative Council and an assortment of student clubs and organizations. The Baron, CFMH and the Yearbook also operate out of the Student Centre.
