Conference Services
Overlooking the city in the picturesque valley below, our Georgian-style campus lets you combine the intimacy of a small college with the cosmopolitan flavour of a larger institution. Here we have lecture halls, theatres, conference rooms, lounges, dining rooms and sports facilities to accommodate your social, recreational and working sessions in pleasant surroundings. In summer we can also provide up to 1,000 residence beds. Our rates are reasonable throughout. Whether you have a conference of 800 or more, or a small training seminar, we will make you feel right at home.
Digital Classrooms
Digital classrooms are also called 'smart' or multimedia or 'new media' classrooms. These rooms are equipped with projectors capable of showing either computer data or video images, sound systems, and Internet connections as well as such peripheral equipment as VCRs, LaserDisc and DVD players, visual presenters and overhead projectors. These classrooms create new opportunities in interactive teaching and learning by integrating computer and audio-visual technologies.
The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER has been designed to address the integrated wellness needs of the University of New Brunswick and the greater Fredericton community.
It provides facilities for fitness, recreation and high-performance athletics as well as new space for community research activities and services. It contains three full-sized gyms, two of which are recreational and the other is a high performance gym for our varsity athletes and events such as graduation.
