Women's Relationships with the Web:
Gender and Technology Research Resources
This web site was originally created as the final assignment for my graduate Sociology independent reading course with Dr. Wendy Robbins (English, UNB) in 1996/1997. The reading course was entitled, "Women and the Internet" and focused on exploring the experiences women have with the Internet as a new information and communications medium.
As the site has evolved and changed over time, the function has also changed. I now use this site to make available my research and resources on feminism, gender and technology. Contained on this site are several essays I have written on the topic, bibliographies, films and book reviews, as well as links to related topics and authors.
