The Limerick Pulp and Paper Centre is part of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick. As such it provides opportunities for students of all levels to improve their knowledge and skills related to Pulp and Paper. The Pulp and Paper Option Program offered by the Dr. Jack McKenzie Limerick Pulp and Paper Research and Education Centre at UNB is available to interested persons working in the Industry by Distance Education. A degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience is normally required if the courses are taken for credit. However, auditing of the courses has also proven to be worthwhile to students with or without these qualification. The Pulp and Paper Option Program consists of the following four courses. CHEM
3801 Chemistry in Pulp & Paper, CHE
5913 Pulp Production, CHEM
4832 Pulp and Paper Testing, CHE
5923 Papermaking, All courses are given every year, and are 3 credits each |
