The Advanced Plastics Manufacturing Laboratory colloaborates actively with

    The Laboratory is equipped with three fully functional PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING MACHINES
  • BOY 50 TONNE
  • ENGEL 150 TONNE
  • ENGEL 25 TONNE

    All the three IMM's are fully open architecture equipped with additional advanced sensors to monitor the machine control performance. The IMM's also allow the researchers to develop customized control algorithms.

    The state of art CMM (Co-ordinate measuring machine) measures warpage and shrinkage of the manufactured product by the IMM. The CMM aids in effective mold designs.
