“From Dreams to Reality,” an event to motivate and help young entrepreneurs on their journey into entrepreneurship.

  • Come to the Aboriginal Youth Business Summit and get some pointers on how to make your dreams a reality!

General Information

“From Dreams to Reality” offers an inspiring and hands-on program for Aboriginal youth, mainly between 17-25 years old, who are interested in business.

  • Find out how business can be a way for you to express your true self and your dreams.
  • Talk to Aboriginal business people and find out how they did it, and what it’s like to run a business.
  • Find out about organizations and resources to help you with your business ideas.
  • Participate in fun exercises to learn about business concepts like innovation and quality control.

Who Should Attend?

  • Aboriginal youth interested in starting a business, or finding out about the business end of being a trades person, artist or crafts person.
  • Aboriginal economic development and human resource professionals who want to get ideas and connections to help their clients.
  • Public and private sector organizations interested in getting a foot in the door with tomorrow’s Aboriginal business leaders and supporting their efforts
  • Space is limited to 120-150 participants…so sign up, and don’t miss out!

Summit Objectives

  • Increase awareness, skills and knowledge about opportunities, success stories, lessons learned and best practices in Aboriginal entrepreneurship.
  • Connect Aboriginal youth entrepreneurs with useful networks and resources for developing or furthering their business objectives.
  • Provide Aboriginal business students with practical experience in applying business concepts within the context of planning and organizing an Aboriginal Youth Business Summit.

Conference Location

“From Dreams to Reality” is being held in Fredericton, New Brunswick at the Wu Conference Centre (Website), University of New Brunswick, Fredericton Campus. The state-of-the-art conference facility offers the latest advancements in technology and connectivity, and meeting facilities that support learning.
