One hundred members attended AUNBT information meetings on 8 & 9 December. The Saint John meeting saw Miriam Jones receive CAUT's Dedicated Service Award in recognition of "heroic service to the cause of university education in New Brunswick" in founding and maintaining the blog "Living in Interesting Times".

The Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers is the union for UNB’s 1000+ teachers, librarians and researchers, full-time and part-time. It promotes the welfare and professional interests of employees at UNB’s five New Brunswick locations. On behalf of its members AUNBT negotiates employment conditions, monitors their implementation and educates both management and membership on their meaning.
